Hello Merrill Families,
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this holiday season. Please continue to work with our Merrill Staff to support your child in their academic and social/emotional growth. The teaching staff have been working extremely hard on finding individual ways to support all our students.
I have some quick reminders as we dive into December.
- December 15: Material pick-up for ALL grade levels from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This pick will include art supplies, individual math supplies, and more. This will be our last pick up day before we head into the new year.
-December 15: We will also be having a Socially Distanced Family event! The Merrill Elementary PTO is putting on a vehicle train to the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights! We will all meet here on Kentucky St. at 5:15 PM and head out for the lights at 5:30!
As always, please reach out to any of the Merrill Elementary staff if you have any questions or concerns. I hope you all stay safe and healthy throughout this holiday season.
November 23rd-December 6th
New materials from classroom teachers and specialists will be available to pick up on December 15th 8am - 5pm. Please return and classroom books and/or library books that your students have finished. Also, please return art supplies and and materials your child's teacher has requested. Please place items in a plastic bag labeled with your child's name and the teacher's name. Having issues with your Chromebook?
Follow these steps if students experience Chromebook difficulties:
Step One: Problem-solve by using these Chromebook Troubleshooting Tips.
Step Two: If students are unable to solve the problem on their own please call (920)424-0420 and we will put you in contact with our wonderful Media Assistant.
Step Three: If our media assistant determines that the student device needs to be sent in for repair, and if the family is not under quarantine or experiencing symptoms, a drop off time will be set up. District Learning without Limits Handbook expectations apply to all devices in all learning models.
Please make sure that when we return to school you have your student properly dressed to be going outside. They will need snow pants, boots, winter jacket, hat, and gloves EVERYDAY!
Please call (920) 424-0420 if your child is going to be absent for that school day. Please make this call before 8 AM. If your child is leaving for an appointment during the school day please also call in so we can have your child ready and at Door 7 for you to pick them up.
It is important that you call in if your child is ill or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. If anyone living in your house tests positive for COVID-19 we need to know.
Virtual Attendance Matters!
During Model 4 classes are learning new material daily! Please be sure to be attending ALL Google meets and be completing your work or you will fall behind. We know the transition between the different Models can be a challenge but we are here to help in anyway we can.
Picture Days - Postponed!
If you have already used the prepay option please know that the money will be applied to your students pictures.
Here is the link for parents to order pictures and pre-pay online for them. This option is the best as it alleviates having more physical contact and lets parents order directly from their homes.
Or click here for the PDF order form for you to print off and send with your child on picture day.
