Picture Day
Picture Day(s) will be on October 5th and 6th. We are doing two days so that all in building students will have their pictures taken on their normal in building day.
Eacademy students, we would love to see your smiling face on picture day. October 5th between the hours of 8am-11am and October 6th between 7:30am-10:30am. Come within those hours to Door 7 we will have you sign in and walk you up to get your picture taken. Parents please note only students will be allowed in the building.
Here is the link for parents to order pictures and pre-pay online for them. This option is the best as it alleviates having more physical contact and lets parents order directly from their homes.

- Donate a book to the class library for everyone to enjoy
- Pencils
- Glow bracelets
- New crayons
- Mini erasers
- Sidewalk chalk
- Mini stampers
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Parking is ONLY allowed in the “loading zone” if you are dropping off or picking up and staying in your car for a brief period of time (5 minutes). You may NOT leave your vehicle in the loading zone. If you need to come inside you must park in a parking lot or where street parking is allowed. This is the RIGHT side of Kentucky Street.
WHERE SHOULDN’T I PARK?
NEVER park on the LEFT side of Kentucky Street. The police patrol our street and you will be ticketed. Be aware of the orange cones and stay clear.
WHAT ABOUT THE BUSES?
PLEASE do not park close to the corner of Kentucky and New York Avenue – buses are unable to make the turn onto the street. Please respect and be courteous to all buses and their drivers —they have a challenging job.
Merrill Elementary students are dismissed at 2:45. Early Release dismissal is at 12:30.
STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO LEAVE SCHOOL
GROUNDS IMMEDIATELY AFTER SCHOOL.
